Using the Bayanihan concept, the nation is once again conducting the National Vaccination Drive (NVD)— the third round of the campaign since its implementation in the last quarter of 2021.

“Building immunity for our people is the most important goal for the government as we try to solve the global health crisis. Your DICT is working with other agencies to strengthen government efforts for nationwide vaccination,” DICT Acting Secretary Emmanuel Rey R. Caintic commented.

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) continues to provide interventions to the local government units (LGUs) by providing technical assistance, support tools and systems, and Internet connectivity which were used for the LGU’s vaccination records submission through the DICT’s Vaccine Administration System (VAS) and inventory reporting through the Vaccine Reporting Operations Systems this NVD 3.

The DICT’s efforts are not limited to technical assistance and providing connection. DICT personnel in the provincial and regional offices are also coordinating with LGUs in preparation and execution, both online and on site. Through DICT’s active participation, any concerns and issues raised were immediately given response.

“Your DICT shall continue helping our fellow government agencies and LGUs in the national vaccination efforts to ensure that we can cover the widest range in our vaccinated population. These efforts are geared towards the safety of all Filipinos,” Caintic asserted.
