3 July 2019 — In pursuit of coming up with a comprehensive recommendation of an alternative Automated Election System, the Department of Information and Communications Technology is set to conduct the AES Technology Fair on 15 July 2019.
The event will allow the various local and international providers to present their concept or prototype of an alternative AES, which may be used for the 2022 National and Local Elections (NLE).
With DICT sitting as chair of the Comelec Advisory Council (CAC), it will also be a venue for various stakeholders to raise queries and give recommendations on AES presented.
Demonstrators are invited to submit their concepts or prototype to DICT on or before 8 July 2019, Monday (5:00 p.m).
