07 December 2020 – OpenGov Asia has recently featured the National ICT Household Survey (NICTHS) 2019 in a recent press release.  The article mentioned the Opening Ceremony of the 31st National Statistics Month which featured results of the NICTHS 2019 as part of the initiatives of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in promoting data-driven governance. 

Through the NICTHS 2019, DICT contributes to the continuing efforts in building the foundation of a data culture in the DICT. With the exponential growth of data due to ICTs, the agency commits to pursue innovative changes in building Data-Driven Programs, Projects and Activities and realizing a Digital Philippines; formulation of Data-driven policies and issuances and monitoring their compliance; and developing a Data-Driven organization that is evidence-based.

OpenGov Asia is a multi- and interdisciplinary team that seeks to build engagement with private and public sectors, sales, marketing and operations. OpenGov is a content platform, dedicated to sharing ICT-related knowledge and information between governments, primarily focused on the public sector in the Asia-Pacific region.
