Dear Cybersecurity Systems Providers:
Greetings from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT)!
As mandated by the Department of Information and Communications Technology Act of 2015 (RA 10844) and the Cybercrime Act of 2012 (RA 10175), the DICT shall be the primary policy, planning, coordinating, implementing, and administrative entity of the Executive Branch of the Government that will plan, develop, and promote the national ICT development agenda, which include cybersecurity policy and planning coordination. Part of the fulfillment of this mandate is the creation of the National Cybersecurity Plan (NCSP).
The NCSP is the national framework that will guide and institutionalize the execution of information security governance in the country and was published on May 2, 2017. Under the NCSP, a CyberSecurity Management System Project or what we have termed as the National Cyber Intelligence Platform (NCIP) will be created to provide a facility that will house research and development, testing laboratories, live test of threats, and threat scenario simulators.
In line with this, we would like to request for information (RFI) on the said project that we will be procuring this year. Interested service providers are invited to a meeting on March 19, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the Seminar Room, DICT Building, C.P. Garcia Ave., UP Diliman, Quezon City.
For more information and confirmation of attendance, please contact Engr. Joanna Del Amen at 920.0101 local 1002 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
