The Philippines is ripe for digital transformation in governance, lifestyle, business and work. However, several key issues remain to receive little attention from both the public and the policymakers alike, creating lag on development on certain areas.
This year, we invite everyone to look further and beyond what is trending, beyond the usual, beyond the internet and social media. We invite all to see ICT differently, and explore more possibilities, improve understanding of ICT and the local situation to be able to participate in growing the sector and all areas that are interdependent with it.
The National ICT Month is observed every June by virtue of Proclamation Number 1521, series of 2008. It is a commemoration of the vital role of ICT in nation building.
